Hey all, it's been a while since I've been on here, just thought I'd check in. I am currently out of the country on "business" and won't be back till late March at least so I won't be able to make the monthly meal Tuesday, probably not the one in March either, but we'll see. Hoping to really get some work done on my truck this summer but it still may not be ready for a meet for a while. Hope y'all are doing well and hope to get together with the group some time after I get back in the states.

Glad you checked in Matt. We were asking about you at the last dinner. Hopefully we'll catch up with you this summer.

Yeah I went through a lot over the past year. Mostly bad stuff that took all of my attention, but I'm through the woods with that stuff now. Across the pond again for the 6th time now, and I'm really itching to get back and get my truck project going again, and also to have some decent food! If y'all make the March meal sometime later in the month, I might be able to make it, we'll see.

Matt Glad to see you checking in. I'm down in Raeford quite often and keep meaning to invite you out for either some range time or just to meet some of the guys down there I know. Including welders that can help you with your truck!

Dinner was good last night. Arrived late, because I forgot about it. But got a chance to talk with Josh 2.0 as well as Wesley for about an hour after the dinner.

Looking forward to the next one.

March is right around the corner.

Hopefully I'll be able to make the March meal, depends on when it is cause I'm still just a bit far away at the moment.

As for the welding, I've been doing pretty well with it according to my neighbor, the car guy and owner of the welder I've been using. I got my driver's side floor pan all welded in and seam sealed, only need to do a few minor things on the passenger side. Got side tracked a while ago when I was moving the truck and lost brakes, one of the old lines gave up the ghost so I replaced them all with new lines. Unfortunately while doing that I discovered an oil leak that I have yet to diagnose, but kind of hard when I'm over 7000 miles away from my truck. All of that and I neglected to update my build thread. Anyway, hope to see y'all soon a the next meal, if not then, I'll be at the Spring Fling!

Moonrunners was ok. It's got a neat atmosphere. Food was not great but not terrible either. Good talking with everyone.

Yeah I agree, I was looking forward to that place, but I wasn't blown away. Was the first time I ever had fish filets on a stick, which wasn't bad in & of itself, just makes it hard to dip them in tartar sauce. And their tartar sauce had too much lemon in it for my taste. I know some people really like lemon with their fish, me - not so much.

I'm ready to eat; I'm down for BBQ, Burgers, Mexican, anything else. Preferably somewhere that doesn't involve me driving in 5 o'clock traffic for a long ways. If such a place exists!

So Tuesday it is. We have 3 from the wake county area and 1 from Raeford.

Any suggestions on where to hit? I’m thinking somewhere around Sanford or Spring Lake or even Fayetteville ( Fayette-nam). But I’m open to suggestions.
