Sad day and I hope the old owner didn’t see that. Would not have liked the way they treated his old baby. I hope he at least got a good price for it.

I know I’m just an old fuddy-duddy, but I’ve never liked burnout competitions, burnouts to tire destruction, or just the smoke it provides. Or as in this case, burnout until truck destruction!
A little bit feeling the same for drifting, but at least that does require and develop some skill.

I totally agree. Lock the front brakes and smoke the tire. Big deal.
I see no entertainment in smoking the tires.

Or diesel PUs spewing black soot from their tail pipe.

The kid that owns this truck is a spoiled little sh** on social media. He's living his life spending daddy's money. That was a 1 of 1 truck that he destroyed after swapping in a 7.3 Godzilla engine. After watching what he did to this truck, I stopped following him all together. I can't stand people like that.

How does a tire explode like that?

Did he air it up to 200 psi?

What a waste of a beautiful old Ford pick-up but I'm sure he got a ton of views and that is all that matters to these folks....

Yep. And even though he’ll make enough money from the online views to restore it completely, it’ll probably end up sitting in the back of a shop somewhere with parts pulled off of it to play with other projects.
They will be just too busy messing up other stuff and maybe even building cool stuff, to bring this one back.
Though I’d like to be wrong on all counts…

I don’t think it needs to be pressure at all. Just heat and centrifugal force.
Add a possible internal defect and you have a bomb waiting to happen.

I bet not all that much extra PSI, and that was probably caused by more than likely centrical force from that Godzilla swapped motor on that 15" rim and what ever size tire he had going 80+ MPH. Yes what a waste of a nice truck. I bet he did not expect all that to happen and I hope is scared the heck out of him.

I know I'm stretching it a bit posting this as dent spotting. I made this T-Shirt up for my brother as a Christmas gift.

As much as it sucks to watch what happened to that truck, at least it's in the process of being restored with new AMD panels. If nothing else this truck will now showcase the new AMD bedsides at minimum. And who knows what other panels AMD will develop and offer as a result of this. However they are only original once.

It wasn't him (the owner) drivingit. He's not skilled enough to drive like that. Trust me when I tell ya, he's a not like us. He doesn't do any of the work on his trucks; mechanical, electrical, or body. If you can't tell, I really, really don't like this guy.
