Went to a barn sale today. They had this 79 F150 4x4 c6 factory AC for sale. Quad shock front and at one point set up with propane. The tank and "carb" stuff is still there. They think all the propane pieces are still in a box on the front seat. Has a bump tailgate and all 4 hub caps. Hub caps in ok - maybe condition. Radiator has been removed . License plate is 2011. Wants ~3K. The farm has another 79 F150 4x4 in a lot better shape and is keeping it. Truck was a 2 tone color. Red and something else.
The blue 3/4 ton was at a local mechanic shop (been seeing it there for a while) and the grey/black shortbed was down the street at a restaurant. Hadn't seen that one around here before. Both looked to be in very nice condition!
Here is a dent that has been in this spot for a WHILE...(as I have been told)
My friend says he can't figure out who to call to find out if it can be bought.
There is no one living in the apartment / house thing...... just POSTED signs everywhere.
Well run the apartment address thru Zilla or some other online realtor site and you might be able to track down the property owner. Or know any one that run the tag?
Mike & Rich, that stepside looks like a candidate for the 502 I built. I've been toying with getting a 2wd truck or car for this engine, instead of installing it in my current Dent.
I might have to do some detective work on this one.....
My same friend that showed me this one, also showed me 2 - LWB 1978s covered with kudzu. He said he contacted the guy a couple of years ago and he didn't want to sell either one.
Last week.... I was driving by where those 2 were sitting and they were both GONE..... Folks around here are starting to FIND and get their hands on these survivors.

Kudzu is a group of climbing, coiling, and trailing deciduous perennial vines native to much of East Asia, Southeast Asia, and some Pacific islands, but invasive in many parts of the world, primarily North America.Wikipedia
