Thank you all so much for the encouragement. I do appreciate it.
It must have worked. I just got hired by an armed security company yesterday. Woooohooooo!!!! Only bad thing is, I have to wait about 3-4 weeks or so for the backgrounds to come back before I can start working, but at least I got hired somewhere. It's definitely a start, so I'm EXTREMELY happy at this point!!!! I'm still doing my testing and such that I already set up and interviews I already have for office jobs, but we'll see what happens.
So, I'm not out of the woods yet, but I do feel much better considering.
Do continue with the testing and the searching. Cuz once you have one... others will soon follow so you will have to make a choice ... could be a great problem huh !!! At least that's the way it has always worked for me LOL !!! Stay focused "grasshopper" and it will happen !!! Dave
Good morning FTE-land busy day yesterday ... did my "Sixliter" tune up and got a dead tree end stump removed and ordered a truckload if type 2 that will finish off the "repaving" and covering of the "poof" dirt in the yard.
I'm glad I'm retired... I got too much to get done to work
Just a quickie today... (get your mind out of the gutter) LOL!
I hope everyone has a happy & safe Thursday!
Tried to place an order online & my Visa unemployment card didn't go through..
So, I'm off to the store to but a prepaid credit card & do shopping for dinner.
Have a great day & enjoy the warm weather!
Mongo when you get done.. I got some yard work at the new house that needs to be done.
Thomas.... if you have loader/tractor and an airline ticket ... I'll consider it ...shovels and rakes, aren't those for leaning on so you can nap while standing LOL !!! Dave
R1, that is great news about the armed security job. Used to work armed security in the late 90's before my first accident. Very exciting work. Congrats!
