Happy Saturday! Smile, and the world smile with you!
I have a challenge for you...
Smile at some random people you don't know today & see how it brightens their day. Then, later on post a little something about it.
Thanks for the info. It doesn't matter if I am trying to take a still of action shot, the lag is too much for me. I want to get one mainly for reference photos for 3D work. With the canon rebel, can it take pics as fast as you push the button (so to speak?) Not a big deal, but would be an added bonus
Sorry it's been a couple of days. I've been running around trying to get stuff set up for a new job I believe I'm acquiring.
Anyway, in response to your question, yes, basically, as soon as you press the shutter button, you take the picture on a DSLR. There is very little shutter lag time. Nothing like you are used to with a P&S camera. I wish I was closer to you up in northern NV. I would drop by and show you my DSLR vs your P&S camera, so that you could see/hear the difference first hand.

Donna, I smiled at my wife just now and she acted like there was something wrong with me. Does that count?
Looks like the weather here in Indiana will be nice...so I plan to get outside and finish up the last of the prep work for the 12 yards of mulch that's coming on Tuesday!
