I just ordered a dozen bottles of the PM-22 from Diesel Filters Online. Saved about $3 per bottle instead of getting it from the dealer.
WOW, I think you are getting ripped off. I paid $8.49 for the bottle and I see DFO has them for $7.79, so not too bad for me. If I buy enough, I can get free shipping and no sales tax!

I bought one bottle from the dealer to get by but got the rest from DFO. The local dealer is around $10 and change for the same thing. I really didn't have any choice at that point because I was out. I think mine was free shipping too IIRC but the no sales tax thing is going to be a thing of the past soon enough.
Yup...just looked at my invoice and shipping was $9.95. I had thought they shipped it free but must have been thinking about something else I ordered. Even with the shipping, it still saved me almost $25.
Wow, that's a lot of stairs to climb! Looks like the trek is worth it...nice boat.
LOL, tell me about it. 76 to be exact! That boat lift I just hauled down the stairs piece by peice this weekend and put it together down there all by myself. Not sure how many trips but I can barely walk today!
I can tell you I cried when it was all together and the last thing to do was attach the cable to the winch with a 5/16 allen key.......that I did not have down there
The boat is nuttin' fancy, Bayliner 185 with a little V6, but it gets us out there. Kids are too young to do much behind a boat and I am too old and out of shape
OMG...I know EXACTLY what you mean about not having the allen key. My dad passed away about 10 years ago (no sadness, great man, missed by all of us, but no need to get into that now). He bought a really nice Baja 320 super sport back in the day. Like you, he had a long walk and stairs to get to his dock. They were gone for the day so I thought it would be nice to put in his lift for him. Piece by piece...all by myself.
So many trips...so many wasted trips forgetting things. I finally got all done and got ready to winch up the boat. NO POWER. I forgot to turn on the dang breaker! Back up boat, reattach a nearly 34' boat (alone, small miracle in itself). Thankfully the water was calm that day or I would have been screwed. I went up, flipped breaker and tried again. I made a check list after that. My Dad was happy and grateful, but I don't think he ever believed I did it all alone. He wanted thank the shore lift fairy as he called it all summer long!
