11822390[/URL]]Well it happened today.
I had to take my father-in-law's John Deere mower to get it serviced about thirty miles south of here. Got there just fine but on the way home, one of my trailer tires blew and I didn't have a spare.
Luckily there was still enough left around the rim that I was able to limp it back here about three miles and get new tires. After looking at the other one I found dry rot on it so I replaced them both. All is good and I love my truck!
Good to hear all is well
Trailer tires going to hell can be a very exciting ride
Well........ Funny you should say that Gerry.
I ordered awhile ago, a electric locking system for the Tailgate.
I want the tailgate to operated with the other locks on the Truck.
Today after work I had a little time to play. I removed the tailgate plastic cover. Got a good look at how this electrical mechanism is to be installed. That's all for now. Tuesday or Wednesday I hope to finish.

Have Fun
installed one on my 12 a few weeks ago (Pop & lock),, drilling the hole in the passenger sill area is the pain.. other than that.. pretty easy.. they give u two new crimp terminals cause u need to shorten the wire (6ft on my CCSB)..
tested first, then ran the wires..
still need to clamp the loop against the body there. (passenger sill to chassis)

Thanks for the Info
I assume you connected so it takes 2 clicks on the remote to trigger the tailgate ......
