Now there's a great idea! In the Super Duty forum, we've got a "Truck Dog" thread where everyone posted pictures of their dogs. We should do that in this thread too.
Yepper! will do, that'll be fun!
That said, today was absolutely fantastic! We decided it was a great day for a ride in the country. We packed up the kids and headed out down Route 52 past the Blue Ridge Parkway and into North Carolina. We went through Mount Airy and went up Pilot Mountain and hit all of the little towns along the way. We're going back in a week or so and I'll try to snap a couple of pics then.
Sounds like the years I lived in Blacksburg VA
EDIT: I tried to drop reps to everyone in appreciation for posting in here and keeping the thread alive. Oh and thank you to whomever rated it 5 stars!
Well, we had a fun trip to Indy today, on our way we stopped at the golden arches in Oakwood, IL and saw this fine looking truck.
As soon as I saw that exhaust tip I had to stop a take a pic.
It had to be 10" in diameter.
Love it!
We had a 10-12 MPH headwind this morning and almost no tailwind on our way back to Illinois so the lie-o-meter said we got 18.4 MPG. So even on a bad day the 6.7 will get better mileage than my old 6.4 would under ideal conditions. Love it!
Roy - Like the name Taffy, he/she is a good looking dog. What's the other ones name?
I like snow but it was sunny and 70 with low humidity here today.
I'll take that any day! Needs to be that way year 'round.
The only problem with that was I was in the office all day.
Sitting at the KOA in Beaufort, SC. Got the 5th wheel and the family settled in for the night. Great day today, averaged 11.8mpg with a 36' camper! I held speed at 65 and just rolled down the road.
Port Orange (Daytona Beach) KOA tomorrow for a couple days. Life is good.
