found a tandem 18 wheeler going about 75 and fell in behind him for a nice ride !!!
this engine/truck is SO nice - finding new features every time I drive it !!!
so cute with a trailer on it the lane change blink is six blinks instead of three !!!
but still trying to figure out how to disable the backup alarm and camera when hooking up to the 5'er while the tailgate is down...
Blacksburg used to be home ...... 1968 - 1971 Student at VA Tech. No Ford pickup then. Austin Healy 100-6
Love the Truck, the F-350 is a real truck! It just don't get any better than this
Love Austin Healy's!!! I must have had ten of them over the years. That was when they were bought and sold for hundreds, rather than tens of thousands like they are today!

They are extra nice with a little Ford V8!
Mine was a 1957 100-6, the model before they were called 3000's.
Stock engine & transmission. One hell've low end tourqe on the old British Ford tractor engine. Full car, earned me a couple tickets

When I am in Reverse... The center display shows me a choice to say NO to the backup assist. Doesn't that turn off the noise??
Is there a thread Tom about the new ride? I think I missed something? Is your Fusion the V6 or the I4?
No good place on a truck forum for another car, so I just changed my sig. I got the I4 for fuel economy and cheapness to ensure, as lots is going on in life and I need to save some money. My daughter's been in the hospital for a month and a half and I will likely be PCSing before the end of the year. I miss my Mustang but am loving 32 MPG!

Understandable man. Gotta do what's best for the family and pocketbook. As well, I'm PCSing next week and you can bet it does get expensive to move. Do you know where you're headed?
My brother (1LT in the Army) just put in an order for a 2013 Mustang V6 for delivery after he gets back from Afghanistan.
I've got my ear to the ground for the new 2013 Fusion as a possible replacement to the beater Hyundai.
Just curious. I saw the sig change last week and figured you moved into a more family friendly car.
Doesn't offer it on mine that I've seen.... and I've looked
going in to get new maps for the nav - will have to ask...
You have me concerned. When you hook up a trailer with the 7-pin the backup alarm is automatically silenced. The camera view is there but no alarm should be bugging you.
If the trailer is not hooked up, when you go into reverse with the tailgate down it is alarming and on your LCD screen it should show the on/off for the reverse alarm system. A quick down and OK and things get quiet.
I finally had Ford replace the solenoids in my transmission this week.
For the first time in 29,000 miles, it shifts like an F150.
I feel like I have a new truck! I'll see if it stays this way.
It received it's first ever CEL when I picked it up but the dealer quickly resolved it.
Now, as soon as I'm done fixing an unexpected server failure at work, it's back to my weekend.
