I completely totally agree, it's wonderful to see some rays of sunshine instead of having a black rain cloud hanging overhead, I love my truck more and more each day after purchasing it in May 2010, one of the best all around vehicles I have had the pleasure of owning. !!!

Speaking of sunroofs - Monday I was forced to park in a downtown Austin parking garage that I swear I had maybe an inch of clearance under some of the concrete beams. I drive with the sunroof cover slid back (what is that called, anyway) all the time anyway, and man, watching those beams barely clear the glass over my head was scaaaary!! I honestly thought I was going to scrape the satellite antenna bump off at some spots. But I was glad I could keep an eye on things I crawled through, involuntarily ducking at each intersection. The folks behind me, not so much......

I would have cried if I had scraped my roof.
I stay out of parking garages, with a CC long box it's just not worth it to park in them. My truck is 9-01-10 build delivered 9-30-10 and I also still love driving it especially when it is hooked to my horse trailer or the 5TH wheel.
Took the family out to the lake for the weekend, about 150 kM round trip (we do almost every weekend). Truck is so comfortable for the family, seems like we are only going a few blocks! Finally got some snow and as usual the truck is a treat to drive on the really slippery roads we had this weekend. We ALL love it! Did some snowmobiling, played in the snow, relaxed by the fire and overall had a great weekend! Even had to take the truck onto the lake to pull out someone who was stuck, took the kids of course and they loved it.
Not sure what that Tundra is doing parked so close to my truck, brave little bugger isn't he!

I’m surprised your truck didn’t start itself, throw itself in reverse, move that Tundra to another location away from your trucks presence then park itself with the only evidence being a slight dent in your bumper.
Looks like fun.
The only ice we had here was hail the other day.
Lots of pea sized hit my truck for about five minutes but get this...I was half a mile away from the core of one of the southern storms where our local EMA reported 4.25 inch ice ***** falling from the sky. Those are softballs falling out of the dang sky!
There were/are some screwed up vehicles.
I hope my truck would have been totaled had the core changed it's path slighly to the northeast.
Then again, I might end up with HPFP failures on a new truck.

LOL, my truck just feels sorry for that little Tundar because it used to be mine so it has had a tough life
Hail can sure be nasty. When I lived in southern Alberta there was a storm that killed some cattle. Hate to be stuck out in something like that!!
My truck lived through this one in the summer, just little hail but it came down pretty good for a while! Was neat!
Short Video (I have no idea why when I post videos they look like pictures until you click on them, then you can see the video??)

I hear ya bro, every time I open the forum and see HPFP I cringe. That being said if mine were to fail ................... WHERE'S THE WOOD, KNOCK ON WOOD.
Well, it didn't happen today. I was too tied up at work to get out and have any fun in the truck. Thirteen hour days are getting old.
I did get to sit in the driveway for a few minutes and marvel at her beauty though.
Sorry to hear that buddy.
I know all about 13 hour days
Good thing about not having a company vehicle...I get to drive my truck AT LEAST twice a day!
Can't you wrap some red and blue christmas lights around your truck and use it for work???? That's what I would do.
on edit, I should add that I am getting rid of my tiny 150 gal water tank I had from my 1/2 ton. It is just embarrassing hauling that puny little 1,200 lb tank!! Ordered a 324 gal, 2,700 lb is a little more respectable
