Who named the city of Fountain Valley? There are no fountains there, and the city is flat. Does anyone know of any Springs in Santa Fe Springs? Maybe they were referring to the oil wells as springs? BTW, Good morning FTE. Hope you have sun down there, cuz we have cloud cover up here.
Santa Fe Springs got it's name from the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe railroad..used to be called Iron Sulfur Springs/Fulton Wells prior to the AT&SF's arrival.
Ever wonder why there are so many eucalytus trees (native to Australia) in Rancho Santa Fe?
The ATSF once owned all the land, planted a gazillion eucalyptus trees for use as railroad ties.
But, when it was discovered that the wood split very easily, burned very hot...and very fast, the ATSF opened a resort hotel to attract potential land/home buyers.
I just checked my truck into Bud's diesel hospital.
Smoking bad, missing at idle, and finally threw P0281. Also for the last two days had randomly not communicated with the fuel level sender, and throws P0400 and P0403. But that has happened before, and I don't see how it can be related.
Think about it. If everyone had this, parking spaces could be about 20% smaller. What would that be worth to property owners in high value areas? Think about all the dinged doors that could be avoided.
Not in our lifetimes, but someday.

I think it is. Could still be something with that FICM, but I'm thinking injector. I've actually been suspecting it for months, but waiting for it to get worse. #7 according to the DTC.
Sorry about the engine, Bill. Your truck is obviously in the best-possible hands, but it's still an un-needed expense that engineering COULD'A solved if not rushed to crank it out the door pre-maturely.
