Actually, i never check luggage, just bring 2 changes and call it good (no, new undies every day
; no longer do the inside\outside rotation
). For some reason there was a long wait for the parking bus, then very slow traffic on ole World Way South drive. Usually I have good luck in the slow lane on the 405, moves faster than the other 4 or 5 lanes.

Y'all think the 405 has horrible traffic?
Went to a dog rescue place in El Monte yesterday, got stuck in the 60 Freeway closure fiasco.
Every westbound surface street was clogged, took me two hours to get to there, usually takes about 20 minutes.
btw: Who named the 405 the San Diego Freeway? You gotta wonder, since it does not go to San Diego!

405 breaks off I-5 near where William Mulholland said: "There it is, take it," then rejoins I-5 at the 'Orange Crush.'
So, it doesn't go any further south than that.

The "Orange Crush" is where Ca57/Ca22/I-5 meet in the City Of Orange....405 & 5 hook up several miles further South at the "El Toro Y", where Joe Osterman once said "What the hell am I gonna do with all this wheat"

Hmmm, but the 405 still doesn't go to San Diego.

There's another 405, it's also a spur of I-5. It doesn't go to San Diego either, cuz it's in Portland...Oregon.
