Maverick, hows the recoil on that BA50?
if ya like the BA50, you should try this McMillian Tac-50. I've had to part with my 39' Ford to play the game.
What scope are you using on that BA50? I'm using the Leupold MK 4 16x40 M1 Mil Dot but I'm looking into the Nightforce NXS 8-32x56 Mil-dot. Do you know anyone using this scope?
The weapon has to be charged to be placed on safe. If the weapon is cleared and/or function checked performed, you store it uncharged. Uncle Sam's rules anyway.
My Sheriffs Office weapons:
Bushmaster XM15E2S flattop SBR w/eotech (full auto)
US Army M14
US Army 1911 .45acp
US Army Colt M16A1 (full size and full auto)
12ga mossberg 500
The SO sure does have you loaded up. Is there a lot of drug running up there or are you just armed and ready to guard the border in case those pesky Okies try to enter?

Perhaps I'm just getting old. I don't remember any rules like that. And since the M-16 / AR15 platform is a closed bolt fire design, I don't see what charging the weapon has to do with putting it on safe.
That's just the way it works, pick up a m16/AR - it won't go on safe if not charged. Our armorers would get reamed if a weapon was inspected in the arms room and it was stored on safe/charged. Been like that in every arms room i've been in. I still do it by habit.
My trio of break actions! Spousal Unit just bought me the coach gun. I picked up the Bon Arms derringer on a whim, was at the store when I picked up the coach gun and used (could not tell) at almost 50% discount.
If we ever get invaded by aliens, I'm coming to your house
If you're worried about aliens or zombies, you need to start a new TX ammunition thread. When the SHTF, you don't need lots of guns (but they're nice to have), but you do need lots of bullets. And generally speaking, the bigger the better.
