As for the LAX runways, from an aerial view all four look to be pointing the same way.
That is correct, they are.
All four actually run at 263 TRU, 249 MAG. But you can only name two of them "25" (R & L) and the other two have to be named at least SOMETHING.
They probably could have just-as-easily have been named 26R & 26L, but I suspect it had something to do with current MAGVAR drift to stay closer to actual as time goes on.
Of course, TRU never changes (well, hardly ever).
