Goodmorning FTE Friends,

I hope you have a blessed Sunday!

Lastnight went good up at Santa's Village at the North Pole. The kids loved it!
I guess the original train had an issue, so they had to get a different one for the event lastnight, but all in all...it went great. I'll add pictures from lastnight to my album shortly.

Have a great day!

Donna,

I'm assuming that The North Pole Village is somewhere out in the boonies on an unused rail line.

How are all those lights powered?

Elf powered. Karl and Kaeden run on a treadmill until they get tired, then other kids take their place. Happy Sunday FTE!

Sorta' reminds you of that Geico commercial with the guy that's trained his hamsters to row a boat in an aquarium.

I don't understand why he would wish to be synching his boat, anyway?

My, my, but it's a beautiful day. 80 degrees over here as I type.

Found enough motivation this morning to start some long overdue flora removal from our front yard. A little hacking, a little digging, and judicious use of a recovery strap attached to the back end of my '94 got the job done on a 15' succulent (one down, three to go). The city won't take succulents/cactus in the Green waste collection because they mulch all of that stuff and don't want the thorns that are on them, so I'll have to either get hold of a trailer and haul it off myself or get a clean up/ hauling service that's willing to dive in. Gotta add a little more to the pile before I decide which way I want to go.

Jim - that would be cute seeing my kids on a treadmill, but that's not the case. LOL!

Pops - It's powered by a 25KW generator behind the buildings. The railway is actually used, I just haven't gotten a picture of the train itself yet. LOL!

Steve - I love that hamster commercial...Row! Row! Row! I think I like the car commercial with the rapping/dancing hamsters better though.
