Well, I changed the channel too soon. I decided to watch the NASCAR race after all, and when the rain came out and Tony Stewart had the problem with his grille, I figured he would not win the race after that setback. So what is that old adage "It ain't over 'til the fat lady sings"?
BTW happy Monday morning, foggy here, but no rain on the schedule.
Good morning all. Today is my first day off since I started my new job. They've kept me busy which I don't mind at all. But it is tiring getting up so early. But I actually prefer the morning shift.
So on my day off I am going to get to go to school all day! YAY! :/
Its pretty good. I like the people, and the conditions are nice. Its not the IDEAL job for me, because its mostly CNA (certified nursing assistant; EMT equivalent in nursing world) type work. But thats ok. There are times where my EMT skills come into play, and when I do Med Tech training I will get a certification that will help me in paramedic school a little.
So all in all, its not perfect for my career outlook, but I like it there, the people are nice, its not totally outside my career field, and most importantly its a paying job.
...and it's a great addition to a resume' I'm sure.
Yes. That is the primary reason for this job. It will pay for school, get me on my feet, and then after awhile I will apply for a job on an ambulance and this job will put me ahead of many people.
sitting here playing me some WoW. I get a text message with pics..

Hope you had a awesome weekend & hopefully your week started out great!
