How about a 1951 Ford F5 Brush Fire Truck. According to the ad, it has 14,000 original miles.



1956 F250 with a utility bed. Since it is green, was it originally a phone truck?

No. Bell Telephone had special bodies made for them. Those bodies had a slightly sloped back end. I found one in a yard a few blocks from me and the owner gave it to me. No title but I didn't need one. I was going to build a street rod out of it. But then I found a complete PU so I scrapped the Bell truck. It didn't stay there long. I saw a want ad for one and I tunred the guy onto it and he bought it from the scrap yard I sent it to.

I posted this one previously. Was advertised as a Bell telephone truck.


The green '56 above looks like it had something round on the door that may have been a better indicator of its use.

That's it. The back doors held long shelves that were deep enough to probably hold phones.
