Here is one I have heard of before. Semi sized pumper truck for the city of New York. Could pump 10,000 GPM at low pressure and 8,000 at high. Pumping through one of it's support trucks could send water 600 feet.
Used a massive Deltic diesel engine that had three crankshafts and opposed cilinders.
It is a Meadow Green 1953 All wheel drive dump. I am not sure what size, F500 or F600, nor can I tell if it is a Marmon Herrington. But it sure is neat.
It looks like it is in the Netherlands (Holland) asnthat is the Dutch flag flying in the background.
Sure looks like it's a M-H. A shadow, but no obvious hood badge below the Ford model badge. Nice truck, even though it needs a diaper to keep it from marking its turf. Stu

Good eyes, Stu! I didn't see that until I enlarged the picture. Suppose the front differential is leaking? Or the old flathead?
Oops, thanks, Toby! Here is the Dutch all wheel drive.
I found some more pictures of the all wheel drive 53. It is an F500. The name on the door looks Dutch to me. You could probably tell what country it is registered in by the front license plate?
Can you tell what make of all wheel drive conversion it is by the front hub? M-H, NAPCO, etc?
