"Oddballs" pics
Author Ian Fleming, a former British intelligence officer, patterned James Bond after Dusko Popov, known as Tricycle, who was a double agent during WWII
The Germans thought he was working for them, but he wasn't...he was actually a British agent.
Popov was sent to the US in 1941 by the Abwehr, had knowledge of the Japanese plan to attack Pearl Harbor. He gave the info to J. Edgar Hoover, who didn't believe him.

What else can you do with the rest of a Crown Vic after some F100 owner steals the front suspension?
OR....
What happens when the guys at the county repair shop have a slow day, using wrecked fleet vehicles.

Hmm, I've got 1/2 a school bus, a front door, some pipe, and 1/2 a C.Vic and a restless teenager who needs to learn to weld.... ..OOoo bonus: Why not work on the worlds largest ball of yellow and orange extension cord at the same time?
Are you sure that's a Crown Vic? Looks more like a Lincoln Continental or something else to me. The profile is wrong to be a CV.
It's hard to tell what this car is, it sorta resembles a Buick.
*LTD was renamed Crown Victoria in 1983.
What I was saying is that body shell does not look like any Crown Vic to me. The roof is too short, the windows aren't shaped right. And the roof and side body contour isn't right for a Panther.
If that is a Ford product, the only one I think it resembles is the V8 powered FWD Lincoln Continentals. I believe these were from somewhere around 96-99 or something like that. That's what it looks like to me.
Thanks for the info. But I'm a big Panther fan. I've owned quite a few. My favorite was a 79 LTD 2dr Landau.

1989: A new FWD Continental sedan was introduced, based off the Taurus/Sable with the gawd awful 3.8L V6.
This car was a notorious POS, customers and dealers alike had nothing but trouble with the engine and overdrive transaxle.
Sometime during 1986, Tooz came into the dealer I was the P/M of, asked me if there was anything that would remove scratches from his hood.
I looked and said...this looks like blood. He said don't worry about it, I can wipe that off. So I used some wax to rub out the scratches.
The next day, Tooz was arrested because he had left the scene of a hit-and-run accident (on Pacific Coast Hwy in Malibu) that he caused. The guy he ran into got out of his car, had a confrontation with Tooz.
Bad idea since Tooz (John Matuszak) was a former member of the Oakland Raiders. He punched the guy once, he fell on Tooz' hood and that was the end of that!

1982/87 Continental sedans are RWD w/a 302. The customer of mine, "The Tozz" had a 1985.

I've owned and worked on the 89+ Continentals with the 3.8L. The engines were fine once the head gaskets were replaced. The transmissions were turds! So was the factory air ride systems. But that is an entirely different car.
This is the Continental I'm talking about.

And this is no 3.8L!!
