440 police interceptors?....QUICK!!! Supposedly outrun a police radio - 200+ mph
(back in late 1980's) Cops couldn't catch a friend that was screaming through town to get to the E.R. to save his wifes life. By the time they caught up to him at the hospital to arrest him, the Dr. advised the cops that if they had caught/stopped him, that his wife would've died! My friend didn't get hauled off to jail, but did get a heavy duty ticket!. Although, if I remember correctly...he couldn't afford to pay it, so he ended up in jail anyway later on.

my 7 litre with the 428 and close ratio top loader 4 speed is fast enough to make a radar unit freak out.
we had a confirmed 158, the next radar unit 2 miles down the road would not read how fast i was going.
the trooper in the passenger seat said he would never ride with me driving again, and i think he also had to change his shorts after that run.

We're going to take a ride around Lake Tahoe today (before the thunderstorms) & maybe pickup some lottery tickets in the Woofords on the way home.

Just got back from Tahoe. Been on the Rubicon for the Jeepers Jamboree since Thursday, drove out through Tahoma today and down the West shore to Tahoe City and on to Truckee. We might have passed you somewhere along the way, which way did you go around and when were you on the West Shore?
