>Oldfords I remember well that engine pulling day in Carson, sure was a bunch of stuff flying that day . I've been thinking of foray down there. Us east siders should get it together somewhere. Any good fishing?

I have 3 day weekends an the wife wants to take off somewhere. We'd be game for a couple days trip.
We're set for most anything, I would like a little difficult to get destination but I don't always find those.

Looking for someone with programmer in my area

Hi all. Well I new to FTE but not to fords or ford trucks. I have a range of them from my wife's 66 T-Bird that I built for her to my 99 F250 SD SC V10 I just bought.

I'm hoping to find someone in my area who has a programmer to change my tire size in the computer. I put BFG 285/70R16 T/A K/O's on my truck and would like to adjust for the bigger tire size. I know the dealler can do it but I can't see dropping $100.00 just so they can plug in and change one number.

I'll buy lunch and talk truck

Thanks,
Darrell

I know the SCT SF3 has a tire size compensation feature in it. I have never used it as I have stock tires on my Super Duty but I've seen the option while scrolling through the options on the menu. It might not be cheaper than the $100 for dealership doing it but you can also use the tuner for other things too, i.e. setting for performance, settings for fuel savings, checking codes etc.
