You add pix from their link. That's how I found that tandem. click on the link that says "view full size image", then copy that link. I found you a grey one: http://images.thecarconnection.com/s...00324873_s.jpg
But when are you gonna get started? I dont hear it running yet. On another note, a soopercharger will help bring in some lower end of the power band of the big ol 4V heads.
I think the Magnacharger and/or Whipple have a bypass valve to help the part throttle economy. In that case, general driving will net maybe up to .2 mpg better.
I was doing a lot of reading and heard that a after market W head will flow better than a C head on W block also the first clevor scenario how much hp can i expect ?
I'm aware that there's some good W heads finally out there. I'm thinking cost, kool factor, and performance. A high flow set of heads is gonna run nearly $2k. Out here, I can snag a set of 351C 4V heads for 2-500. You could also snake a deal on some used hi po aftermarket heads too. Ya never know.
You said you had one in your garage or barn or something. Start there. For the top of the line, the CHI heads will deliver. A little spendy tho. You can get some remanned heads if you do a search. Also try the old standby: ebay & craigslist. Actual power numbers? Hard to say. I may venture at 4-500 at the crank. A 5.7 hemi makes 345hp.
Keep the block! A roller cam is a good power maker. Keep that and the distributor. That saves a lot of kash. I'll have to find a particular cam to use. Things change just a little with a roller cam. They hold the valves open longer, and make more power, and in a broader rpm range than an equal duration standard cam. Dump the intake, injecotrs & all the sensors, and the heads. Somone's bound to buy that off of you. Save the lifters too.
