Like what parts and if I put a posi rear won't I be ok cause both wheels will launch and do I have to beef my front suspention to hold engine weight ? What parts are ( bigger stuff)
Posi is a GM term, and is quite offensive you would use it. Ford called their limited slip TracLoc, may not be spelled right. Make sure you have an 8.8 or 9" rear end for it. Just a 2wd with big power tends to be a handful. When both tires spin, that is. The mods to suspension is all covered in the Ranger section.
Seems like u are hard leaning twords 4x, i did not know it was a gm term i discust me lol and if 2 wd abd big power is tuff how do u get muscle cars tgey are all.2 wheel and big power?
Grippy-sticky meats. I'm not pushing the 4x4 idea, just keeping your mind open to more options & idears. It's worse in a pickup, since all the engine weight is up front & the bed is the only weight out back. For proper weight transfer, get a drag racing style 4 link. Not very cost effective, but it helps launch. Check with the Ranger guys that have the v8 swap already. See how they 'get a grip'.
