This weekend. Added airbags, steering stabilizer, P3 controller, 5 Star tune and y-pipe. Also carrying 50 gallons of fresh water in the pic below. Tank is pretty far forward from the axles. Felt more stable even with the high head and cross winds. Next big thing on the list is gears, but that won’t be till next spring.
Spent the past weekend at the Williams Hill BLM campground, a little south of King City CA off the 101. A little warm in the middle of the day, and *very* dusty, but still had a great time!
Been looking for a decent used TT in my price range for a while. Picked this up the other day. The kids are stoked. We got rid of our last one about 13-14 years ago, so my youngest 3 kiddos only heard stories from their older siblings about the adventures. We all spent the whole weekend getting her ready to go.

Coachmans have a decent reputation, good luck with it and safe travels! Maybe someday we will meet up camping.
Thanks WE3ZS. Maybe we will. I'll definitely be keeping my eyes open for fellow Ex folks. I need to take a pic of the hitch that came with it and see if y'all can tell me what brand. It had some numbers and such but no name.
The hitch looks to be a simple chain style WD with an add-on friction anti sway bar, they have their place but that is dictated by the trailers length and weight. What is the TT's length and GVWR?
A better WD hitch with built-in sway control will provide a more comfortable and controlled towing experience.
Personally, with the short-ish EX wheelbase and that size and weight trailer I would look to upgrade to a better WD hitch system. I don't think that you need a Hensley or Pro Pride (although they are the best available....) something like a Reese Dual Cam or similar will keep the TT behaved at speed and in the wind much better than the one you currently have. I started off with a cheap Draw-Tite WD with the add-on friction anti sway bar and then found a used Hensley Arrow and the difference in comfort and control was night and day.
I've been doing a little reading on the PP and the Hensley. I'll definitely be keeping my eye out for a good deal on a used one. In the meantime, I'm going to try this one out and see how she does. The WD hitch I had for the last TT (40' er) helped but wasn't awesome. Did not have any sort of away control though.
Congratulations on the purchase. The first hitch I had when bringing my 31' 9k home was a WD round bar chain type. I replaced it as soon as I got home with a dual cam square bar with sway control, been very happy since. Getting the weight just right when loading the TT also pays good dividends.

What is the rating of the spring bars on that hitch? It should be either stamped or a sticker on them. With your TTs GVWR figuring for 15% tongue weight you are looking to potentially have 1300+lbs of tongue weight loaded up for an extended camping trip. My setup is a hair over 15% at 1840lbs of tongue weight on a 12K TT, we obviously don't leave much behind at home.
Bars are 1200 lbs. Also, I'm sure in this thread there is probably tons of generator info and opinions but I looked through many pages and didn't stumble across it. So, what does anyone recommend for a small quiet generator? All my experience is with big loud job site generators. I've always seen Honda spoken highly of. Any thoughts?
We have the matched pair of small Honda Eu200s that can be linked together to provide 30 amp RV power. Only ever used them back when we had the TH, came in handy to power the TH at the Quarter Midget tracks when our son raced, having a place to sit down and cool off in the AC was great. I'm thinking of building a TT rear hitch mounted rack to hold them and a fuel cell for some boondocking options as we head into retirement and will be camping a lot more.
