We have a 2015 Bullet 243bhs. Same basic floor plan you are looking at, but smaller slide with U shaped dinette and no couch. Also we don't have the extra storage next to the fridge. I just felt I didn't want to tow around more than we really needed. I can't speak to longevity, as we have had it less than a year so far. Spent 28 nights in it in 2015 and had a friggin blast ( used to have a pop up). At this point, I will say we are 110% happy with it. Hopefully it stays that way after the warranty period. I think it will.
I have more a simple question fellas... My son's car (2003 Grand Prix) broke down a couple of weeks ago and I need to tow it home from Lansing, MI to Flint, MI (about 55 minutes away at about 60 miles distance). I was thinking of renting one of those car tow dollys from U-haul. I have never towed anything other than a trailer that I borrowed from my brother in law to move my son into his college apartment.
Is there anything special I need to be aware of or take precautions while performing this task with my eX? My ex is a beast and I know this is no big deal for our truck but want to make sure I have all my "i's" dotted and my "t's" crossed...

I would imagine that the Gran Prix is a few pounds heavier than this Metro but I don't see an issue with the plan. Just take your time if you are not used to towing anything.

As long as the towed car is front wheel drive there will be no issues.

Did you use rear brake lights with this setup? That was one of concerns, whether or not I will have to get temporary magnet mounting brake lights to go on the rear of the Grand Prix I will be towing...

With the Uhaul dollies there is not a need for additional lights. The dolly has lights on it. For a one time deal they are adequate. If you were doing it all the time (like a toad behind a motor home) you'd want something better.

Wouldn't that metro just fit in the back of the Ex?
When I pulled the stereo out of the cabinet, I discovered an empty set of video outputs along with a 3rd set of speaker outputs. It's almost as if they really wanted me to have that second TV in the bedroom. Don't have to hit me upside the head twice with no tire tool ...... I installed a set of speakers in there too.
Let the mods continue...........
Started installing the LED light strip under the awning. Putting it in a black aluminum channel. Channel and light strip installed, still got the hard part to do, tapping into the porch light for power.
