This is what I was referring to: Air Lift LoadLifter 5000/Firestone Riderite
NOTE: TO PREVENT POSSIBLE DAMAGE,
MAINTAIN A MINIMUM OF 5 P.S.I. IN THE AIR
HELPER SPRINGS AT ALL TIMES.
MIN PRESSURE 5 PSI
MAX PRESSURE (LOADED) 100 PSI
NOTE: Once the air helper springs are installed, it is recommended that the vehicle not be lifted by
the frame, as over-extension may occur, resulting in damage to the air helper springs. However, should
it become necessary to raise the vehicle by the frame, deflate both air helper springs completely.
*I guess the "ultimate" airbag has a foam thingy inside that allows you to run with 0 psi.*

I wonder if that applies to the airlifter 5000 without the internal stop ?

Yes, that is for the one without the internal bump stop.
I will tell you that when I load the Ex down with 8 people I can sometimes feel the bump stop. I have also towed my car hauler without adding air to the bags and can feel it hit every so often.
Hung a second TV in our bedroom yesterday. Love black friday deals... smart TV for $125. I'd like to be able to watch DVDs from the i-RV stereo / DVD player. Can I use simple RCA splitters to connect to both TVs at the same time ?

That sounds like a deal but.. for a little more you get a well known brand with built in smart tv technology and wifi. Very useful in an rv.
I recently did an install of a 24" smart tv. Also bought a NUC size mini computer and hooked it to it. Can watch anything I want now.
I wouldn't use rca unless that's the only output option. I think you can use a splitter if you do go that way.

I installed bags on our newer work truck. The system leaks down slowly so the bags are at 0psi after a couple days. Hasn't caused anything bad yet.
Also the frame lift deal... After installing the bags I quickly realized lifting the truck by the frame was gonna be an ordeal every single time I need to change oil on it. The first 5-8 times I used straps around the axle to the top parch of the bags to hold the axle up when I lifted the truck on the hoist. Now this last oil change I said F-it and just started lifting the truck without the straps holding the axle up. The axle drooped quite allot but the bags never collapsed or stretched to the point where the rubber was pulling hard on the metal end caps.
But I can see where lifting a truck with more suspension travel would easily tear the bags apart. I am actually shocked this isn't a more heard about issue now days with so many bags beings used and trucks being serviced by any old garage.
If it was more of an issue with our truck I would make up two short lengths of chain with hooks on each end that could be hooked by each bag to keep the rear end in check when lifting the truck.
Picked up our new trailer today. Our last trailer was a 2010 Sprinter and this is the new 2016 Sprinter and it towed like a dream.
Approximately 57' total rolling length.
Wow, nice !! Three slides plus outdoor kitchen. Please feel free to post a few pics downstairs in the bumper pull camper section. We can always use more Excursion representation down there. Congratulations !

Nice TT and EX Jimbo!
How long have you been towing with the Hensley Arrow? We have been using ours for five plus years now and we love it, our EX and TT are right at 61' bumper to bumper.

I've had the Hensley for a year and a half and wouldn't say it was love at first drive. Once I determined my tongue weight (on the old TT) was 1300 lbs and my equalizer bars were only good to 1000 lbs, that was a leading cause in my front end wander while driving. The weight on my front tires was not within the same ratio as when I wasn't hooked to the trailer. I'm now running 1400 lb bars and the wander is gone.
So I'm loving it now and enjoy the simplicity when unhooking the trailer and leaving 90% of the hitch setup on the trailer.
