I haven't towed very far with ours as of yet, only 6 miles to closest state park, but I love the way it hitches and un-hitches. Flat sites so far though!

If hitching/unhitching on off angle sites you just need to adjust the screw jacks differently, that will tilt or twist the hitch head to have it properly aligned with the truck mounted stinger. I love the simplicity and ease of hitching/unhitching the HA, you don't have to handle any parts unless you are taking the stinger out of the truck's receiver hitch.

I hope its okay to post this and not too off topic.
I sold my travel trailer and just have a camper now....tow my boat behind that.
Since the hitch is a longer than usual one to make it out under the camper overhang, I had a question about how long I was allowed by law here in B.C. Canada.
After calling numerous places who kept referring me to others, I decided to stop at the scales oneday when just driving by.
The woman who spoke to me there was very nice.
But again seemed to have no actual answers for me.
Just out of curiosity I asked another question.
So how long can a truck and trailer be? There was 6 people there, not just her.
She turned to ask the others since she did not know.
None of them knew.
They are the law enforcement people for this in my area.
One guy finally chimed in and said "Try to keep any trailer under 53 feet, and truck and trailer combination under 91 feet"
I just shook my head and left.

My opinion is it largely depends on who stops you....and what sort of a mood they are in that particular day.

I had no clue there were bumper tow length limits... Are you guys serious about the "excluding " bumper because I am at 72' when I haul mine with my crew cab and bikes on the front

Yes, there are max combination length laws, I break them almost everywhere I tow. How long is that Eagle TT? Whats the CC's total length with the bikes up front? 72' seems kinda long, my EX and TT are "only" 61' bumper to bumper and that's with a 41' TT including the Hensley Arrow's length.
John posted this link to a listing of the various State and Canadian Provinces laws.

Very nice rig!

Not sure where you are, but here I don't think they ever actually check lengths.
I have yet to even hear of anyone getting measured.
If the time comes take the bikes off the front and put inside trailer until he drives away ☺

Same here. Was a commercial driver most of my life..... never heard of an RV being measured. Not something I'd worry about.

I'm a hair under those max lengths...haha I've been eyeing bigger trailers but I want to pay off my pickup first.

For now the little Jayco does the job.

I did all kinds of reading as I was doubled up on trailers.

In my state the max is 65' total which I was right at or just over with the train.

So I've started to tackle this. I'm probably 60 to 70% done. I decided to line the inside of the compartment with plywood, covered in indoor / outdoor carpet. This will allow me to attach things to the plywood.

It took 2 sheets. The ceiling i had to do in 3 pieces, because I was limited by the width of the door.

I stapled one edge of the carpet, then sprayed trim adhesive, folded the carpet over the plywood and stapled the other 3 edges.

We dry camp alot, so we travel with 2 100 watt solar panels to charge the batteries. Needed to come up with a rack to keep then up against the ceiling in the compartment and off of the floor. Wood is what I had handy. I sprayed it flat black before screwing it to the ceiling....
