Back to work on the truck after a few months hiatus. The metal shop called today to come pick up the work I dropped off. The did a great job fabricating the compartment doors and rear storage bins. Everything will be primed this afternoon. Check out the pics!
Wow! Just stumbled onto this thread. That's a really unique build! Keep up the good work! I'm not all the good with wood, but looks like you got a really good handle on this thing. Nice job.
Thanks for sharing all the pics of your build. You have done a tremendous job on that project. Keep up the good work. Look forward to seeing the pics when you are done.
Got another repaired wood door back from a friend who has been helping me. Two of the three doors are done and will be fitted and hung this week!! Getting closer!!
Also decided to reskin the interior back wall and replace the rusted diamond kick plates.
I'm getting tired just looking at all that work...you are definitely a man with a passion! Thanks for sharing the build pics, I can't wait to see the final product.
Also been working on the interior wood and hope to have it painted in place next week. The truck still had the Lombard Village ID sticker that was placed on the steering column in 1960.
