I can spell excellently.
And no, I don't like smiling.
Try to find a picture of me smiling.
There aren't many.

Next time. This was our first outing with a shotgun. Long time for me, and the first time I've fired my Mossberg 500 12, and the first time we fired the Sears adjustable choke 20 we got from a friend. My son took a couple of shots down range with the 20, and then hit the first bird I tossed up. I think he hit more than I did.... But we weren't throwing them very well, as again, another first in throwing them with the hand-held thrower. Plus, we were at the end of the pistol line, so we had to really watch it, and had to let a bunch of crossed-up birds go.
But we accomplished the basics, we went out shooting and he has the bruise on his shoulder to prove it.

I saw that movie.
This movie took place in '78 (The movie was made in '83)
Back then there were probably small town yards like that.
You'd be lucky to find something such as that today. Although... The shop owner first comes off as a cocky, arrogant a##hole, but later Arnie works for him. I wouldn't want to find a shop like that with that a##hole type around.
In the movie, The '58 Plymouth Fury is Bright Red. Furys were only available in white with anodized trim in '57 and '58. You may have noticed that the car had "door lock buttons" those cars (and most) didn't, you used the handle. They crushed some good Belvederes and Furys then. (The Fury was a trim package/performance package on The Belvedere)
Did you know this movie is based on a Stephen King novel? Which I happen to own...
You know the George Thorogood song "Bad To The Bone" didn't come out until '82 or '83. (4 years after the movies setting.

In the 70's and 80's Cal Poly SLO had an outdoor version for students living in the dorms complete with an 'expert mentor' and tools to loan. It was busy with oil changes, etc. Ya had to make an appt to use one of the 5-6 bays.
