Compressor, accumulator/receiver/drier, condenser, flushed all the lines. Whatever that stuff is, it was throughout the entire system. There's some type of a desiccant bag in the drier...Bud thinks that may be where it came from, but it's still a mystery. The system had no leaks.

Yep...in fact, they'll probably be doing my ball joints before too long.

Thank God. About time Bud Selig showed a little *****. Maybe now they'll finally be forced to sell the team.
Everything in the system was badly contaminated. I left it with Bud. I did keep the old belt tensioner as a spare, since it turned out to be in decent shape.
I had a 79 GMC Jimmy with A/C. The dessicant bag broke and sent it's contents throughout the system. It never did cool right after that. I hope you have better luck. As for my GMC, it just rusted away and I scrapped it.
N. Illinois. As long as the Jimmy heater worked all was fine!
I wish I had that garage behind the garage in CA. You can barely see the Excursion front bumper in the front garage. Had a 6' deep pit under the Jimmy, cool for oil changes.
