does anyone know how long it would take to drive from San Diego to Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon, leaving San Diego near Sea World between 4:00 and 5:00 pm (rush hour) to I think she is going to Carson? It is for a friend we are trying to convince her to take the train.
She's flying to San Diego from Oakland for a meeting then driving with a friend to I think Carson where the friend is supposed to drop her off at the metro station to take it to union station and then on to North Hollywood where we are to pick her up. We are trying to convince her to just take Amtrak to the Van Nuys Station.
Afternoon guys. I just can't beleive the death toll from all of this. I've been listening to a Huntsville, AL radio station, and it just sounds like a nightmare down there.
Applied for In-N-Out.
They start out at $10 an hour, which is above minimum wage.
They been 'round since '48.
Beats the $1.30 an hour my dad made in the late '60s, although, the cost of living then was much cheaper...
Some have said we are actually better off now.
If you are going to flip patties, and I see no reason why you shouldn't, In-N-Out is perhaps the best place to do it. They will actually teach you something, including good customer service. Are you willing to S-M-I-L-E while cheerfully serving evil people? You will need to, and once learned, a skill that will help you in every future job.
We have another In-N-Out alumni here in the So Cal chapter of FTE. He turned out okay. Except for spelling.
We're heading for Big Pine in a few minutes here. Ya'll be real onery while we're gone. Que?
