Gee, RC, you'll only charge me a buck to work on your stuff? ...My pal! When can I come over?
Bob, I was just thinking the exact same thing. But maybe down in the park so we don't upset the neighborhood with so many Ford trucks parked about. I'll bring the Ford, no sweat, but the kids and Mrs. will be in the Olds family car. This ain't no crew cab I got here. It's tough to squeeze five of us in a standard cab. We could do a pot luck deal BBQ. Everyone bring something.
Finley River Park is a nice place, we can get together there, I'll load up the smoker and we'll just see whap happens!
Alan I was at the end of the same counter you were at. I was pretty much right next to you a few feet away. I had a grey Tee shirt on, and there was the 2 then 4 blue boxs that the shocks were in on the counter.
My day is wasted inside doing chores around the place and turning in my time card for the week. We have to submit our timecards via e-mail, which sucks.
Well, I got the new grill in, and while I was at it, I put the new head unit in there as well. Now I have tunes in the truck! Woo Hoo! I had to replace one speaker, but no big deal since I had a pair laying around. I have to go clean up the garage and set up my wood shop so I can start getting busy on these chairs again.
Got the throttle linkage worked on, and got the flow-masters all hooked up, sounds alot better than open headers. I can't believe I am saying that, but it sounded like a tractor.
I have to figure why the dip stick tube will not stay in.....any suggestions? It does not have a lock/jam nut or snap ring. Its a after market chrome (wow) POS that came with it.
Mounting the center console (ammo box) and the Ranger armrest, gotta ride in style. lol
The dipstick is supposed to have a tab spot welded on it that bolts to one of the exhaust manifold bolts. It probably came without the tab or broke off all together because of the quality Chinese craftsmanship.

Duh..... why did I not think of that. Because my 351M dip stick tube had a lock nut design to hold it into the oil pan, that's why. And I am an idiot.....at times.
Firing up the welder.....bbbbbsssssss spark spark......thanks for the help.
well a long day..got the broncoII tires mounted on some shinny wheels the kid likes em..i made him help all say with taking the old tires we robed from some of my trucks and mounting them on wheels to fit his truck..been a long time since i messed with tube type tires..even had to break down a tire from my 1946 caddy to rob a tube...ha ha ha all he can think about now is going to smorr to get his truck muddy..just because there are people there to watch him..he gets bored just going from the house to the lake to fish by himself......we came up with a name for his bronco....tu-tone turd..ha ha ha... i snapped a few pic's of the fun
that would be cool pinto..poor kid thinks he has a great 4x4 truck..me and larry rag on him about it calling it a turd all the time ha ha ha ..he is a good kid once you get him away from the women and make him work hard..i think he is learning that if you want things like toy trucks ..it takes hard work..
I got one lounge chair roughed out. I have to stop and buy some hardware tomorrow and get crazy with the sander.
This one lays flat so someone could lay out by the pool and get some rays.
I finally got all the junk out of the back of my truck as well. It wasn't easy getting the short block out, but I just lowered it to the ground easy and stood it up in the corner of the garage. I can't imagine why my back hurts like crazy now.
Hey Bob, if it's all right with you, I'm gonna drop off that grill and stuff tomorrow morning on my way to work. It's just gonna get wrecked sitting around here. Don't worry about the money, I'll get ya' to give me a hand with something sometime.
good job alan on the chairs.... its never a good idea to hurt yourself over a old hunk of iron..it can be replaced your back cant.....could of got some old tires and just shoved it out onto them...but we all do it i guess..if i would of known i was going to live this long i would of taken better care of myself..
