You guys will like this. Went to buy another 2011 F-250 King Ranch for the wife today and wouldn't you know it the CEL came on during the test ride while she was in it. We did not buy that particular one, it did not have the rapid heat or a sun roof. LuvMy11 I believe someone has all the engine codes posted somewhere in a thread, but I couldn't tell you which one. Sorry I'm not that good.

I dropped my truck off last night and they are supposed to start working on it 11 minutes ago. I hope to have good news for everyone later today. I had zero luck with FMC customer service! They pushed everything back to the dealership.

Service writer just sent me an email indicating the download is from
TSB# 11-3-23. He indicated they were downloading the software now. No text on the TSB yet.

Made an appointment Mon. morning for the latest feflash TSB 11-3-23 I hope this is the cure its been a long 2 months, My service rep was wondering if this would apply to the Nox censor issue, I told him that my code of P164A was listed in the reflash and he said he would be glad to give it a try, i havent had any transmission issues like some people have had i just hope that it takes care of my problem, since im not very knowledgable in this field does anyone have an idea if this will fix the CEL issue

I know this post is almost a month old, but I recently had a CEL and they found a NOX issue. This is SSM 21690 and it addresses codes P164A and P2A00. Basically, sounds a lot like your complaints and as of now, they have no fix. It says it is a calibration update and to check oasis for updates.

I live in Canada, I have a 2011 F-350 6.7 Diesel 4x4 Lariat
Back in Jan.2011 my CEL came on, took it to a Ford Dealer for repair. They told me it was getting a fault code for needs new nox sensor. 1st visit they did nothing by get the fault codes..... they said they might have a fix in a month or so.
Took it back in March 2011 they said they had new nox sensor to install, took it in again they tested it again and said Ford didn't give them any answers yet and to try back in a few weeks and they might have an answer. Note: they didn't even install the so called nox sensor even though they had one brought in for me and booked to get it installed.
Back in for the 3rd time this Monday after I called the dealership complaining they didn't even install the part they ordered for me on my last visit.
Picked up the truck today with still nothing done at all again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They just keep telling me opppppps Ford doesn't have a fix yet
4 months with the CEL light on, the truck sputters on take off. and they have no idea what the heck is going to happen and when... i get no answers at all.... just sucks to buy a $79,000.00 truck that won't work and can't trust it to even use it for what we bought it for (Travel).
Anyone else having this problem?

I think u need to find another dealer..

another user with a constant CEL just had some airbox calibration that seems to have helped his situation..

I had the same problem as you.....and many days in the shop with nothing getting done.....couldn't take it anymore...sold the truck with a big $$ hit. I am now driving another brand and happy as hell. I do feel bad for you, it was the most frustrating 7 months I have spent with any vehicle I have ever owned.....and I have had a few.

You are not alone ,many on here having similar issues that Ford is unable to rectify. Complain and you will be flamed by certain persons here but just so you know this is in my opinion more than an isolated issue as people want you to believe. I too am pissed I made a 54K USD mistake as well.
