I forgot to mention that the Ford rep had called and talked to my service writer at the dealer so she was well informed with my concern. I had let my servic writer know I was sending the email and he was thankful for the heads up.

Good to hear. As some one who will be buying one soon, I like that they are following up.

Hello, new member to FTE. Glad to hear I'm not the only one with the same issues. Bought my truck in November CEL came on 200 miles later and on ever since. The codes they rattled of were p164a, p2a00, p0133, and dont remember the code but low boost condition. Also said that ford was working on it, sounds closer now than it was in December. I have had my engine oil temps up to 208F according to the little tell tell gauge, on the highway at 65-67mph. Getting about 18mpg city/highway. Anybody having turbocharger surging issues, on the highway it will surge from 3psi to about 8psi with the cruise on. It just goes up and down like youare turning a dial.

My light had been on for the past couple of months, but just went off about 10 days ago, and so far has not come back on.

I'm thinking it may be something about frozen DEF, as it has been -20 or colder all winter up here in Canada, and I have not used any DEF in 4000 miles. It has been warming up, although still some -30 nights, but still no CEL.

I have put about 5000 miles since my last DEF fill, and am going to wait till spring to fill, unless my "less than half" message displays.

CEL went out

The CEL went out on my truck this morning on my way to work after about five min, then it did a regen. (50 mile trip) On my way home it did another regen, then said DEF is half empty. Same milage home. Called the dealer they still want it to come in for a reprogram when it becomes avalible. The outside temp got to about 50F today.

It's nowhere near that warm here. The light went off at about 25F. Still off yet (2 weeks). It's getting up to melting temps during the day now. The power seems to be back, although I have not had it out on the highway, or pulled anything. I haven't got the "1/2 full" on my def yet.

This is the first time posting on the thread,- I can say with the new 11 SUPERDUTY this is the most informative place there is.. I have read through all post regarding CEL and I must say I, like you are disappointed in getting this light so early at a price so high.
I got a CEL after 15000 miles with a code of P0202D and P020E8. DEF tank pump gone bad... so those of you that have had this problem I dont think weather has much to do with it, I live in San Diego where the weather will only get as low as 40 deg. ( at least where i live). Encinitas ford says they have to locate the part ( yes i am concerned) I do Love this truck! It has been the best truck I have owned this far, I hope this is not a tell-tell sign for the future of this beast.. Does anyone have information on a code chart that explaines each code?

LuvMy11, Welcome to the site!!! Like i stated early in my postings this is a great site to find out things about your truck that you cant find anywhere else. I think between whats going on with mine and what your expriencing are about the only common things people are having issues with, I dont know what your codes mean but if someone on this site doesn't answer just google your code and you can usally can find the answer, And for what it's worth I love my truck also I just wish Ford would get it fixed real soon!!!
