anyone care to remember NONE of these wrecks have been my fault?!?! gets lost in translation doesnt it. keep passing judgement. i was no closer then th car infront of me was to the one infront of him.
I'm sorry for sticking my nose in again where it's not wanted, but that's entirely too fast in snow in a heavy Excursion, 4WD or no 4WD!
Those little 2,000 pound scooter cars in front of you will stop in 1/3 the distance it will take an Excursion to stop. You gotta live and learn though.

TOO FAST?!?! haha that was a snails pace. normally run that road (limit of 60) at 65-70 year round without issue. also mind you if you move alittle over too the left and watch about 4-5 cars ahead you can see whats about to happen if anything.
obviously you missed the new toyota 4 runner..not a small light truck, then theres the chevy pickup infront of the escape at the end of the vid.
lol your welcome to your opinion. but she does just fine much faster 70-75mph on the same road before those idiots slowed me up. little weight in the back studded snow tires she is like a cat! stops damn near on a dime. how about you come on up here in winter and see how we go about things. it isnt like you guys in the lower 48.
never rear ended anyone in the winter yet... (knock on wood) now i have been rear ended a few times..hmm guess that means i could get stopped just fine and the other people couldnt.
yeah looks like we're getting another 8 or so inches.
Everybody needs to slow down in snowy/ice conditions. Do you really need to get home 5 minutes sooner so you can sit down and watch TV? Or eat dinner right at 5:00? Or log on to FTE so you don't miss anything?
nope, but i dont need to be stuck behind some idiot going 35mph in a 60mph zone.
Skip, you may get a kick out of this. i had to run across town on my lunch break to get ym check for my totaled explorer. after that i stopped at DQ. it took me 25mins to order and get my food! i could not believe it. but it was lunch time. you shoulda seen the line behind me.

man i hate that dq over there on tudor and old seward by homedepot. them guys charged me extra for making my banana split with 2 pinapples and a straberry topping instead of with chocolate. they are half retarded over there.
Congratulations, I feel like I am in the Twilight Zone again! In the same reply we're now talking about "slow drivers" getting in your way and "picking up a check" for another totaled vehicle. WTF happened to the Explorer?
nope, but i dont need to be stuck behind some idiot going 35mph in a 60mph zone.

You don't have to follow an idiot going 60 in the snow, 2 wrongs don't make a right.
