lol true, but i meant comparing the new taurus to the new Camry and Chevy sedans i've been in/driven. same goes for all the new fords though they have really stepped up the interiors and quality and sound deadening.
now i'm not going to complain about my '02 excursion...shes nice enough and once i do the door seal mod i feel it'll be quite enough lol
I did the door seal mod a few years back, its time for me again. i am buying all new seals and doing mod later this year. Im on hold, this is slow season for me until mid November.
heading down to Madora,ND tomorrow to check out the Teddy Roosevelt museum should be fun! the driving down here is all but mind numbing though..maybe i'm just spoiled with all the mountains in alaska lol
i'm getting really excited about the Seattle portion of the trip! cant wait for the space needle.
def cant call them moutains but it was a very pretty and a fantastic day!
this house was built in the 1880s by a frenchman named demores we did the full tour it was really neat!
he also had a packing plant down in the town which burnt down
in/around medora
teddy Roosevelt's cabin
this steak place was amazing...must have been 300-400 people and they put the steaks on pitchforks and then basically deep fry them. its all done outside with 180 degrees of views of the badlands with a live band also...great time!
when we parked they had flaggers so i knew it was going to get kind of packed. we were the 4th car to park. this is what it looked like when we went to leave.
i'm trying hard not to catch it... normally after a few weeks i do get it alittle bit lol so far though i think i'm doing a pretty good job of keeping it at bay.
well i've put alittle over 500 miles on the truck since i got back home on 8/21. truck has run fantastic! thats is untill this morning. i went to take a friend down to look at new ford fusions and i fired it up and instantly knew i had a miss. now if you'll remember i replaced all my coils with ebay coils and new autolite double plat plugs. now that was about 5,000 miles ago. so tonight i pulled all the coils all looked good no cracks no nothing. so tomorrow i'm going to try and track down which is giving me fits and replace it with one of the others i have.
earlier this week i delivered a excursion out to wasilla, ak and my friend drove my excursion...kinda nice to see/hear it other then driving.
i have also decided i think i'm going to tame down my exhaust alittle bit. maybe i'm getting older IDK lol but i think i've had enough no muffler...
lol it just looks that way in the pics. i have not washed it since Aug 1st the day i left for vacation. i'm gonna try to detail her tomorrow if time permits.
so i got the miss fire fixed. swapped around some coils and shes purring like a kittin!
also today i added alittle sticker i found last night when i was downtown with some friends having dinner. i'm not one for stickers on my trucks(bumper stickers) but i likes this small alaska state sticker with the state flag colors/stars.
skip, you can see how dirty she is in this pic lol
