trying to get everything in order to go back to work next week. of course the last week i get roped into helping a family friend with his tractors. he wants them cleaned up and tuned up. so i messed with them today along with filling up all my gas cans.

i know...i'm hoping i can buy it off him! only has 600 hours on it. one owner and always treated well. i had alot of fun playing with it this afternoon... 2 cly diesel tons of TQ.

 

do u still have your 5STAR tune /SCT3 tuner. what has it done for u and what it hasnt done for u. do u like it also

 

i over loaded my little trailer alittle today but she did the job! i was right at or alittle over my max cap for the trailer axle. luckly i just went slow and only had 2 miles to go.

then stopped at the grocery store which is a pain with the trailer. i prolly pissed a few people off since i didnt park out at the end but whatever.



then i gave her and the expedition a bath then put the excursion in the garage.

 

well since i go back to work monday and will be working weekends 10hrs a day on top of the week days i wanted to enjoy this weekend as much as possible.

took some family out to Palmer,ak to the reindeer farm. you get to pet, feed w/whatever with the reindeer its pretty cool! ontop of that we got to feed a 3 year old moose. then did a hay ride and maze..the little girls loved it!!!!

after that we went up to hatchers pass to see where the snow level was. i have a feeling the days of no snow up there are very short.

then on the way back i stopped in Wasilla, AK to visit with my friend terri and her family which bought my 2 old excursions and our motorhome. and i rebuilt there 2004 silver excursion for them. all in all a wonderful day and i racked up about 300 miles on the beast..which rolled me over 111k!

then stopped off in Wasilla to visit for a bit...had all the excursions in the driveway. 2 of my old ones, my current one and terri's silver rebuilt one.



the poor black truck she was totaled almost a year ago 10-15-10, atleast she was able to save the life of the silver 2004!

also since tomorrow is my first day of work i know i'll be busy. so i took time today to clean up the interior's of my trucks alittle.

 

man the inside of that things clean! i dont think ive cleaned the inside of ours since we got it! oops!

 

Nice! I'm looking foreward to the snow! We are usually about two weeks behind you in AK as far as the weather is concerned. Did the snow ammount to anything, or just a coating?

well i've put almost 9k on this baby since getting her! just getting broken in!



got the garage all settled for winter. the excursion gets to be all nice and toasty hehe

At the rate I am putting mileage on my Excursion (2,000 miles a year), it will be the year 2039

before I have 111,000 miles on mine. I will also be 86 years old if I am still living then!

 

lol yeah, but you have so many things to drive plus a company car right?

allthough just between my expedition and excursion in the last year i have driven over 23k miles. almost 13k on the expedition and 9k on the excursion.

 

we are close to 200k and our ex sure looks like it too! hehehehe!
