What mileage do the Michelins get? I hear a lot of people who love them. They are not aggressive enough for what I want, but they seem to be pretty pricey for a street biased tire. The only way I feel they are worth the $$$ is if they get like 100,000 miles out of them. Just my opinion.
I heard of people who do get close to 100k out of them. Somewhere between 70-90 on average. Some friends with an '02 Ex 7.3 have them on theirs and have like 50ish on them now. They still have LOTS of tread left. They were sideswiped this summer and one tire got damaged, but the insurance company just replaced the one. I do know these Michelins have a 70k warranty, so they must be good for at least that!
Mine (LTX M/S) currently have about 40k on them and they have about 11/32 tread left (they started at 16/32). So around 8k miles per 1/32 of tread. If they continue to wear linearly they should be half gone at around 64k miles.
well i've been working so i leave the house and come home in the dark. also my dad just had one of the first surgery's from the wreck so i've been taking care of him and the household. i have not had any time to get new pics. i so have some i've been meaning to post but no time to get them off my phone.
i will say i am 100% happy to be able to say there is nothing wrong with my Ex anymore the rest of the crap is just wants. hehe
oh and on tires....i'm lucky if i can get 20k miles outta a set of summer tires any kind that is. i drive pretty aggressive haha
That is pretty impressive. I just want something a little more aggressive!
take a look at these cooper discover AT3's i know a few people with them and they love them! seem to wear pretty well also but really too early to tell.
well i felt bad, i had not washed the excursion since October!!! i know i know i should be beaten lol so after our crazy weather over the weekend which had the temps in the 50s! its now back below freezing and the truck was filthy! so tonight i ran her through the carwash and made it shine again. wish we had more daylight though. i go to work and come home in pitch dark.
then on my street there was a few down trees from the 100mph winds we had. i got out and moved a few off the road and snapped a pic of the truck all lit up.
take them led lights off the back if your gonna drive around with them all ghetto looking half burned out. or knock some out on the other side to match. its ruining the look
