Well I finally remembered to take some pics while I was out on a parts run to one of the local yards. I could have dozens from one yard, but the owners prefer to not disclose what they have. This yard doesn't care, so I took some today!
The owner is always moving more stuff around, and sometimes trucks are uncovered that nobody knew were there. This poor old F250 looks to be '82-86 (I couldn't get close enough to see, too many thorns) but it still has farm plates and the frame was torched behind the cab. Likely got made into a trailer.
This truck has been an awesome parts truck for me. The cab isn't terrible, but it's sporting an '87-'96 box. Pretty common here in the rust belt. It's an '84 Custom, 4.9 2wd with a 4 speed. The front fenders are mint originals, he only wants $20 bucks a piece so I think I'll go get them sometime when I have some spare time.
This one appears to be a custom build. It's an '86 F250 DRW 4x4. I know they didn't make an F250 with duallies so either it was an add-on or an F350 DRW converted to 4x4. Former 6.9 with a 4 speed. Hydroboost is still there. Sorry for the bad pics, it's under a Monte Carlo and everything around it is piled too. I was under a car when I took the pic
And for good measure, here's an old Louisville. Not a 7th gen, but still cool as hell. I think it's a 477 in it.
What I don't get it how everybody's original chrome front bumpers still look great, even the ones in the junk yards. Except mine took a turn down hell's half acre. Mine must be a replacement.
A guy who works at the gas station across the street owns this one, he has a matching topper for it too.
I pulled a bunch of parts off this 86 bronco for mine, I almost bought it before I got mine, but the floor was way too rusty. The owner restored it in the 90s, but kept driving it, and it rusted again. I think he scrapped it a month or two ago.
I also just looked through this whole thread. There are very few crew cabs. If anyone's got pictures, post em up!

Wish I could see the truck to get a picture, rumour is it's still around but it's an '85 F350 Crew Cab DUALLY with a 6.9 and it was converted to 4x4. Biggest tank to rule the roads around here. Belonged to a cash cropper around the area and from what I understand it was pulled off the road last year and left behind the barn in need of some love. I'll be investigating, will keep you guys posted!

I never thought of doing a tow truck next haha. My parents and I just bought a former Shell service station for more shop space. Might as well start some more projects! Helping to save the world, one bullnose at a time
I moved 600 miles south out of the salt belt and all of a sudden I started seeing a lot of well-preserved bullnoses. Here's a pretty decent F-150 Explorer, I think it is a 1982.
Spotted this 80-81 F350 4x4 in town today. It was in pretty decent shape. No real dents or dings in the body. Had an 82-86 grille that needed replaced though.
