Now what
X,
reps to you cause I dont think I would have had the patience to do all that you did... when I heard "pull engine" I was thinking hummmm 2011 PSD??? hahaha.
As far as the "Stealership" goes they wanted to pull my engine because of corrosion on the oil pan... I said no and got a die grinder and some jb weld on steroids and buttered that baby up hahaha.
Best thread I have ever seen on here!

Hope you get your truck back on the road .
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
Anyway... I can't post an excel spreadsheet so I will just post the numbers at the bottom of this post.
The fuel drain O rings which appear to be leaking now is something your son can definitely do. It's 4 torx bits and 2 O rings. Don't bother changing the O ring for the regulator OR the one for the fuel bowl heater... do the fuel bowl heater next time you/we do a filter change because you have to unplug the little connector inside. The regulator threads are NOTORIOUS for breaking off. So don't touch it unless you HAVE to. So toss those 2 in the glovebox.
As for the 5w... especially since I do oil changes several times a week now for various reasons on many trucks... I think I would honestly run it all year long OR at the very minimum run the valvoline 15w40 (or insert favorite 15w besides rotella) once the temps started staying above 50. Just plan ahead for when the stuff goes on sale and buy enough to get you through winter. It's only 20 bucks more PER oil change then the cheapest 15w (rotella) or like 10 bucks more then valvoline, motorcraft, etc... I have made many believers in the 5w in this cold weather. I used to run Rotella in my personal truck and then whatever anybody wanted on customers trucks... but since I actually have a shop now, do more oil changes and see many many different setups from mild to wild... I am definitely not a Rotella man anymore. Granted I do oil changes every 1500 miles
so I didn't have the same experiences as everyone else did lol.Time Injector Control Pressure (PSI) Injector Ctrl Pres DC (%) 04:11:22.069 10.55
