They will be hooked directly to the tru rams with no mufflers. Fully Functional.

I will do a hidden mount system in stainless as the pipes are 304 polished.

What trans is that, 4 spd?? Also, did you modifiy the front spring, front shackles? I was thinking about removing the rivited front shackle mounts and boxing the frame and adding poly bushings...any thoughts? Kind of like Jeeps.

Standard T98 on the trans.

Front Spring leafs are reverse eye with a four inch drop axle.

Front Shackle is stock and i need to rebuild the upper mounts. Boxing and a poly will work with a outer sleeve and inner sleeve.

Was able to get some more done in the mock up area.

New Vette master and mock-up mount. The stock plate is out being powder coated along with various brackets and things.

50 Caddy/Oldsmobile air cleaner i will modify to sink down over the air cleaner. It is about where i want it.

Nice Falcon Sprint console for the space in between the seats. We have the stock sheet metal mounts i have to modify to fit the profile of the 64 floor.

Here is the custom new drag link for the front steering. 5/8" heim Joints with left and right hand threads to allow adjustment.

More to follow.

Hi Garbz I hope all is well! Have too many problems logging into slicks and life has kept me away. Sticking to my local clubs and working. Saw the build thread, figured I would say hi!

I will try to, I havent worked on my slick all winter, hes parked at my sisters for now. I moved out of Denver and live in a ski town, we got over 500 inches of snow so far this season. I am down to glass and body work then final touches. Will make a thread on here later.

Well we were able to get some bites done on Saturday.

Mocked up the master cylinder and set the plunger. This unit comes with a separate center part to cut down to set the pedal pretty slick. I will take some more photos of the back of the unit.

Eric was able to scrounge up this neat vintage Offy Tri-Power intake with some vintage stromberg 97s. We will need to get three new carburetors. It has a nice vintage linkage. So we will sell off the vintage Caddy Air Cleaner.

Bolted the steering box in place and ordered up the u joints and shaft. We used my mock up column. Bill W is supplying parts to make up the new unit after being royally screwed by a parts purveyor in Georgia on a column.

Started work on the new brake lines by installing the new rear hose and bending the lines.

Also pulled in a parts truck on Thursday. I will be using the frame off of this truck to resurrect "Christine" My son will be doing all the work to get everything built with my supervision. Yes the truck is a lifted 2 wheel drive about 4"

Eric made arrangements to send the intake and carbs to Enter Dick's Hot Rod Carburetion for a rebuild. It will come back all shiny and new.

The hood was picked up today and here is the louvers all 168 of them. Chip Quinn of Hot Rod Central in Phoenix the deed.
