Wouldn't be to hard to make it telescopic, but as I stated earlier; beauty in simplicity 
plus another pole would be like $10 and a telescopic mechanism would probably be like $30 once I get a working model lol

4. Wrong (But also, there are technical terms used for the positions from the question. The terms you used are stages of a 4-stroke. The technical terms are specific to maximum up and maximum down positions for a piston.)

Yes, I am aware. Most people in general don't know squat. It's pretty sad the way society has gone in the past 20 years or so. It's "gone to hell in a hand basket" as they say.
