Well here we go; this went way too quick by the way. We didn't run into any issues other than the fact that it didn't take nearly as long as we though it would.
Old parts off and new ones being prepped

Passengers side
All back together and back outside
Test drive was great. Clunking was gone and our home done alignment worked just fine. (It will still get a professional alignment next week)

No no, Thank you Greg for the help. It went quite smoothly. I went and helped Aaron for the rest of the day after we were done. I just didn't feel accomplished after how long that took! ha! I still have a very small clunk so seldomly you second guess that it actually happened. Probably a ball joint starting, or something higher up in the chain. Certainly not everytime I turn like before. It feels much better! One project done, onto the next adventure! So we may be doing ball joints soon Greg, if you are available. Oh, and thanks for putting the pictures up.
Got the carb spacer, and just got my intake/exhaust manifold gasket in a couple days ago. Ordered it from summit about a month and a half ago...just got it. Gotta love finding out it is back ordered AFTER you finish ordering it! Oh well, it's here safe and sound, along with the ridiculous amount of stuff they send with anything you buy from them. Planning to get the distributor ordering going soon. I have been getting some input from various places on the DUI setup, and it has been making me think more seriously about what I am going to do.
Awesome!! I am down to the distributor right now! Unfortunately it is by far the most expensive piece to get. Shouldn't be too long now though. Unfortunately with my class schedule the actual project may have to wait til June.
I take it you are putting a GM turbo on a Ford engine?
At one time I had two 6.5's, one was a 94 Chevy Blazer and the other was a 95 GMC Sierra 2500HD pickup truck.
Should anyone ever need to borrow, I have the special tools for adjusting the electronic fuel injection pump on the 6.5's.
I change mine out three times:
I did both the 94 and the 95. I stripped the front down to the block and swapped out the timing chain for idler gears.
I had to do the pickup over again because the rebuilt pump had not been tighten up at the shop and leaked fuel
That time I just wrenched the bolts to the drive gear through the oil filler port in the timing chain cover so I could R&R the pump without opening up the front of the engine (that is removing the water pump).
