At this point my Friday is open. Worst case I would be leaving mid - late afternoon to head to my parents, but at this point there are no plans. Plus I have no issue with you working in my garage without me here if the need should arise.

I would plan on getting started fairly early, so getting it done shouldn't be a problem.

Haha, thanks, but I think the little one will be adequate. Just doing a couple steering joints.

Cool, I will need to get directions, or an address, from ya at some point before then. Should be a fun time. Have you done steering stuff before?

He's doing tie rod ends and drag links, I believe. Depending on the day I might be able to come help.

Simple enough stuff as long as nothing is rusted beyond use.

I will have a can of PB blaster with me as well. Had to do emergency surgery on my truck tonight in the blowing snow. Went to roll my window down to clean off the mirror and the window was frozen solid. Tried a little harder to roll it down and...clunk! No more window control. A few moments later, the window was falling inside the door, not attached to the window tray. Whoops! So, I tore the door panel off and put it back together.

Ooo I hate it when that happens! On mine the window kept coming out of the lower fixed channel, I ended up using liquid nails to affix the glass to the channel.

Well Gents, looks like it's on for the steering stuff Friday morning. I plan to get there around 8 or so. You are welcome to stop by. It's gonna be at Greg's place of residence..namely the garage. There won't be too much glitz and glamour involved, so don't expect it.
