What is this about a trailer needing to be pulled? I am a little over 4 hours away from you (near Appleton).
Thanks for the offer, but that's quite a drive just to move a trailer! All I really need on Friday is to get it moved from the grass in front of the house to the garage so we can unload it. It weighs between 10,500-11,000 right now, so most guys I know with 1/2 tons are afraid of breaking their trucks. If only they had Fords!

Hopefully today! They told me last night that they don't think it's bent either, which shocks me considering how hard she hit that wall.

This is what has me worried and stressed. I would LOVE to get my hands on a shiny, new 2011. Unfortunately as new as they are nobody's making great deals on them like they were last year. I got $12K off mine last April and only paid ~$35,000 for it. I couldn't have a comparable new one for less than $45,000, which is more than I can spend on a vehicle.
But on the other side if they repair it I'm afraid it won't be the same again.
But in the end that doesn't matter. All that matters is that nobody was seriously hurt. As much as a car and truck fanatic as I am, it's sometimes hard for me to think that way!
HOLY CRAP! Looks like your truck fared pretty well considering what it hit! I feel ya on the replacing your truck if its totalled. I get nervous every time it hails or storms...if something happened to my X it has such high miles on it they would probably total it and it would cost WAY more to replace it than I'd get from Insurance.
holy *****! How was their that little damage from a rock wall like that? and im impressed that they "think" the frames not bent. Just shows you how strong superdutys are

Just heard from shop, initial damage estimate is over $23,000. Waiting on insurance adjuster to get there and go over it to see what they are going to do.
Karri is at the doctors right now, I'm anxious to hear how that goes.
Umm that is a rock cliff not a rock wall thank god she didn't get hurt any worse than sore and stiff muscles. Make sure she takes it easy it really helps to do some light stretching every two hours and to take a short walk if she is up for it.
Glad your wife is OK now about the truck
They are saying 23,000 and it didn't bent the frame?
Is it at the body shop of your choice or is it where the tow truck took it?
If not at a shop you know check up on them before you ok the work but you know that.
We have seen the answer to what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object. Someone gets a new truck.
My kid hit a lamp post in a parking lot going 5-10MPH in a Saturn several years ago. Car was a total loss. It couldn't even be towed away - I had to get a flatbed.
I was rear ended by a Grand Am while driving my '97 F150. Her car was totalled. I didn't even have a scratch to fix.
