I hear ya! You know atleast we do have internet and info is a lot more readily available.. I cant tell you what a true PIA it was years ago when there was no internet or electronic information available easily... A person really had to get crafty and the trial and error process was daily! LOL!

Well I dropped the front axle out of the truck. I want you guys to look at the pictures of the frame, all I have done is cleaned it, not painted it, and looks how it looks.
Axle needs some major cleaning though. And you NEED to get rid of those front drum brakes. They are TERRIBLE! I had front drums on my '75 with a 390 and it would hardly stop on a downhill. Can't imagine it with a heavier motor in it.
