Also I bought some power seats and console out of a bronco from a buddy of mine for 20 bucks =) The will need reupholstered but hey just the seats and console are worth 20, then I may be buying some other stuff off him =) Lol he will sell you anything dirt cheap when he is hard up for cash.
I like it I do everything after the thing gets shot all the way to wrapping it and putting it int e freezer, its fun. I just bought a guitar to build up (Gibson, for 240 dollars) and yeah I plan on saving up next couple of pay checks to buy a disk brake conversion kit (There are no barkes parts in the drums lol)
But yeah I hope tomorrow or sunday to get the front axle under it =) I say sunday cause tomorrow i have to go get the seat then mow. But its all good lol I also got monday off, so worst comes to worse monday the axle will get under it.
Jesse, you should look into upgrading that stock highboy power assist steering when you can. I got rid of mine on my highboy, it's a terrible design. If everythings solid it may work but I wouldn't hold your breath. I used a F150 steering box and "custom made" a setup. I've got about 100 bucks in it total. It's not perfect but a lot better than stock. I'm not sure how easy it would be to do a crossover steering setup on it with them knuckles, been a while since I've read much about that and don't recall.
Axles under the truck and I have pictures just I am in so much pain from doing everyone elses work then mine so I hope to get the pictures up soon. Tomorrow I hope to clean the frame then start treaing down the PSD to convert stuff.
Thats my last couple of updates I been meaning to do compressed into one. I got one side of the engine unmounted and tomorrow just have to do the other side then the tranny, then out it comes.
