hahaha Truck looks like a blast man! Wish I was closer to lend a hand bud, good luck with all that rust cleanup. I had to brush up a frame off of a 66 last year... what a pain. Take the lot of it out to get media blasted and save yourself the headache... you'll spend a couple hundred to get it all cleaned up, but it will be bare metal for you to start fresh with, and you won't have any unseen rust spots come back to haunt you later. Good luck mang!
Its cool man were all here to learn =) And I would love the help, would be way nicer then asking my 53 year old mom to help (And its amazing how just me and her can move a bed by ourselves) anyways thanks for the encouragement and give me a hauler if I can ever be of help =) And the frame doesnt have any rust on it *Knocks on wood* its all mud. I plan on getting it down to bare frame and painting it here soon. As for the front axle lol IDK, probably clean it, and paint it (Going to do something neat with the diff cover) anyways hope to keep you all excited about my work =)

I know everyone is saying the same thing, but I wish you were closer to me. I have a 75 F100 4x4 to donate to you. It's sitting in the back being returned to the elements bit by bit. I tossed a 429 in it, but lost interest in the project a few years ago. I have a car hauler and can meet you in Boise. Is that close enough to halfway?

I think you should keep the cab mounted back right in front of the rear tires. Looks like some sick demented hot rod that way. Just make super long front fenders and hood. HAHAHA

Anyways, looks good! When are you gonna start swapping the diesel in? I would attack the frame with a wire wheel and paint it before-hand.

Going to clean up the frot of the frame, the springs and the axles, paint them then start the swap. So it may be a while but I will still be doing it, and mom said the same thing browny, make it a long hood truck and instead of putting liek MACK on the front put MASSIVE.

Haha! I like the back to back cabs idea. Confuse everyone. Or just mount it all backwards and drive it bed first!
Limo would be cool too.

I always wanted to make a crew cab super short bed truck on a single cab frame.
