It also rode like someone welded the axle to the frame.

I took out two leaves per side, and got lucky. The stance is what I wanted, and it still handles a decent load. Wait, that sounded kinda dirty....
You just described my truck.

Believe me Mike, if I were using my truck the way you use yours, I would have left them in. I think the frame would have cracked before I would have been dragging tail with those things!

You're right. The frame does crack before the springs sag...

Didn't you poot the Moog cc844's on your rig and have it come out level?
Yes, I put the regular 844 on my truck and it was damn near perfectly level. I wanted some rake for load bearing so I rebuilt my leafs with some f250 leaves and now the rear is higher. I'll try and get some pics if my wife will let me use MY camera.

I had considered doing the Moog springs in the front and F250 springs in the rear. I was just afraid that the rear end would be too stiff.

Anyone else amazed that we're on page 9 of a thread discussing leveling?

It's just part of the quest to find to absolute best solution... or to find out that you don't want to lift at all.

I don't like to think of it as page 9, more like on our way to page 10.

I kinda went the other way, I bought bigger tires, now I want to level to free up a little wheel well space on the front.

You and BCHauler make promises for pictures. I will continue to wait.

Those mastercrafts look beastly. I went with the BFG's because I wanted to go with a very aggressive tire that was still an A/T. I was actually shocked when I put these on, it's a much smoother ride then I would have imagined.

I've heard that they don't self clean extremely well in the mud though. So if your trucks gonna see mud, you might want to stick with the M/T tire. You are right about a couple things, BFG's are really nice looking and White letters out are a must.

and because I am becoming a big fan of posting pics of my truck. here is another shot with the bfg's from another angle. (what you see before getting run over )
