I picked up a daystar level kit for about $90 from Jegs I think. I changed out the shocks to skyjackers and got a set of 33" tires. I am very happy.
The level kit is just a 2'' spacer that goes under the coil spring. I think skyjacker has an actual longer spring that you can get instead of needing a spacer, and it is also red and I thought that was quite neat too.
Do you have a pic of your truck with the leveling kit and 33's?
ill prob end up doin them then then do the block as needed if the back of the truck is not level with the front atleast
have you heard anything about the rough country 2.5 inch leveling springs . ?
I know that several users on this site are running the rough country springs, and they like them. I would go with one of the bigger names. I had the Superlift ones and they work fine. They were about 100 bucks.
I'm gonna take a stab and say 302's in both. 351 crown vics are really hard to find. I shopped for one for awhile and never found one that was in decent shape in my price range.
yup skyfox your correct. 302 5.0 in both. except on the crown vic i have mustang shorty headers , bbk off road h pipe and flowmaster 40's
I been meaning to post my new exhaust on truck but my video wont upload. I did the pace setter shorty headers, jegs off road y pipe into a mac flowpath muffler, split into duals out the corners.
Not all police interceptors were 351's, I don't think? I'm pretty sure later Crown Vic police models had the option of the bigger or smaller modular engine, so I presume that was an option in the older ones.
Of course, it's not an issue anymore... they've got glorified SHO's coming out of the closet soon.
I believe right around 90ish they switched over the Holley carbs because of problems with the old carbs. That's what I really want, a 91 interceptor with the 351. sweetness
